Any time is a great time to visit our services. You will find an old fashioned Ozark welcome. I believe that is the reason why many who visit Pomme de Terre Lake on weekends return to our services time after time. Christ is at the heart of our message and the Bible is our only guide.
In all of our activities we need to keep in mind that the most important thing of all is our relationship to Jesus. Activities cannot take the place of personal devotion to the Savior, for we cannot earn our salvation — it is from God by Grace. That was the reason that Jesus went to the cross and then rose from the dead.
Jesus said in John 11:25, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die."
The question comes to each one of us, "What will you do with Jesus?" The whole purpose is for us to find our way back to God through Jesus Christ. God is not a god trying to see how He can "zap" us, but rather how He can love us. Will you love Him back by becoming obedient to His Son Jesus?
